Bryan Harvey

FOUNDER, DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

FOUNDER, DIRECTOR, CINEMATOGRAPHER
Bryan Harvey is an award-winning director and cinematographer. His work has taken him to over 35 countries, documenting diverse subject matter – everything from “off the map” expeditions in the Himalayas, and wildlife in the most remote jungles of the Congo, to high fashion runway models, and tango dancing in Buenos Aires. He’s highly sought after for his keen photographic eye, his ability to elevate the story through stunning cinematography, and the creative spark he brings to each project.

Recent work includes specialty cinematography on a Sony Pictures/Katheryn Bigelow feature film. In 2013 Bryan was a cinematographer on “Belief, “ an epic eight–hour documentary series produced by Oprah Winfrey and Part2 Pictures that looks at the personal nature of belief, religion, and spirituality around the world (to be released in 2015). In 2010 Bryan was selected by the J. Walter Thompson agency as principal DP for an international ad campaign for HSBC that shot in over 20 countries. Other commercial clients include Nissan, Panasonic, LG, Purina, Captain Morgan’s, and the NFL. Documentary clients include National Geographic, PBS, Discovery, TLC, The Travel Channel, The History Channel and more.

The son of a world-renowned Magnum photographer, Harvey grew up immersed in the world of fine art photography, inspired by the works of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, and other masters. His career began at National Geographic where he wrote, directed, photographed, and edited over 20 films for the landmark television series, National Geographic Explorer. Today Harvey has focused his work on creating ground-breaking imagery using the latest cutting edge photographic tools.

When not shooting in some far-flung location, Harvey can be found on his beloved Outer Banks chasing the light, wind, and waves with equal passion.

CHIEF PILOT AND COPTER TECH

CHIEF PILOT AND COPTER TECH

Tim Gould has been involved in the sport of remote control since the age of ten. His thirty years of experience has seen him build and fly all forms of model aircraft including traditional helicopters, aerobatic giant scale, and turbine powered jets.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Technology Education and has taught electronics, transportation, communication and construction at the middle and high school levels. Later, he transitioned into a role training and assisting teachers with instructional technology.

Gould combined his hobbies of photography and remote control in 1998, starting an aerial photography business. At that time he was one of a handful of operators in the country using remotely piloted aircraft for aerial photography purposes.

Today, there are many budding “drone” pilots looking to hit the skies. Gould is truly one of the pioneers in the field. His experience in electronics and operating remotely piloted aircraft combine to make a valuable asset to the team.
